22 Oct y.azz x b-mywingz release new single ‘Paris’
Pop-electronic duo y.azz x b-mywingz released their new single ‘Paris’ today. ‘Paris is a change of attitude, an assumption of a character, an alter-ego who knows exactly what she is doing and what she wants‘ reveal the authors.
Part of their debut album ‘Cycles’ (Sony, 2021), ‘Paris’ succeeds to the single ‘Too Far’, recently included in the list of the 21 best songs of 2021 by SAPO Magazine.
The duo’s next concert is next Sunday, October 24th, at the ‘Live @ A Casinha’ concert cycle. Tickets are available for 5€.
Mariana (y.azz) and Margarida (b-mywingz) met in London. Both music students, it wasn’t long before, between coffee chats in Camden Town and the hustle and bustle of London life, the embryo of the project that would bring them together after their return to Portugal was born: y.azz x b-mywingz.
They stood out in 2019 with a victory in the EDP Live Bands competition, a feat that led them to perform on two of the biggest stages in the Iberian Peninsula: NOS Alive, in Lisbon, and Mad Cool, in Madrid. In May 2021 they released ‘Cycles’, debut album that features singles like ‘dis/closure’, ‘Did It All Again’, and ‘Too Far’, song recently included in the list of the 21 best songs of 2021 by SAPO Magazine. The album was presented last September in a memorable night at Titanic Sur Mer, in Lisbon.
