November ’26: Pedro Jóia on Tour in Senegal and Pakistan

Pedro Jóia’s international presence continues to grow. Between 7 and 24 November, the Portuguese guitarist returns to the road for a new leg of his 2026 international tour, with concerts in Senegal and Pakistan, bringing his music to new audiences and international stages.

Pedro Jóia’s next international tour kicks off in Senegal, where he will perform at the Festival Au Tour des Cordes, whose 6th edition takes place in Saint-Louis. On 7 November, the musician will take to the stage at the Grande Scène of the Institut Français de Saint-Louis, as part of a festival dedicated to the meeting of string instruments and musical traditions from different parts of the world.

The tour then continues to Pakistan, with performances in the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad (including two concerts) and Faisalabad. A highlight will be his performance on 15 November at the World Culture Festival Karachi 2026, held at the Arts Council of Pakistan, an international gathering dedicated to the performing arts and cultural exchange. Now in its 3rd edition, the festival runs for 25 days and brings together more than 1,000 international artists from around 150 countries, alongside over 500 Pakistani artists. Its programme spans music, theatre, dance, cinema and visual arts.

Back in Portugal, Pedro Jóia will bring the BATUTA Festival to a close on 26 November in Sines. The performance will take place at the Auditorium of the Sines Arts Centre, also marking the venue’s 21st anniversary.

This tour takes place in a particularly significant year for the guitarist, as he celebrates the 30th anniversary of his recording debut with Guadiano. With a career spanning Portuguese music, flamenco and world music influences, he maintains a busy international schedule, with recent concerts in Australia, China, India, South Korea, the USA, Uruguay, Venezuela, Brazil and Singapore.

On stage, Pedro Jóia presents both tributes to José Afonso, Armandinho and Carlos Paredes and the richness of his own musical universe, with a particular focus on Mosaico, his latest album of original compositions, which reflects the stylistic diversity and artistic maturity of his musical journey.
