28 Jan Luísa Sobral releases new single ‘Quero Morar numa Canção’
‘Quero Morar numa Canção’ – which translates as “I Want to Live in a Song” – is Luísa Sobral’s new single. Unreleased and premiered live at recent concerts, the song, is now finally available on all digital platforms.
Following the mini-album ‘Camomila’ (2021), the new single ‘Quero Morar numa Canção’ marks the return of Luísa Sobral: “I had already played this song live for some time and although it is not part of the next record, it is part of a phase inbetween two records, and so I wanted to release it” reveals Luísa, adding that “this song was born from a question: what if I lived in a song? I started then to imagine a song as a house, with floors and a ground floor… In a way an analogy with what I am.”
‘Quero Morar numa Canção’ was produced by Luísa Sobral, recorded and mixed by Austrian sound engineer Moritz Kerschbaumer and features António Quintino on bass, Carlos Miguel Antunes on drums and Manuel Rocha on guitars. The cover photo was taken by Marta D’Orey and the graphics were created by André Loureiro.
