23 Dec Luca Argel annouces the first dates of 2025
The multifaceted musician, writer, and poet Luca Argel is preparing for a 2025 filled with exciting new releases and concerts that promise to surprise and move the audience. With an agenda already featuring three significant performances and his participation as both author and performer at the Festival RTP da Canção 2025, the luso-Brazilian artist invites us to dive into his artistic universe, where music, poetry, and activism intertwine.
On 5 April, Luca Argel will present his latest album, Visita, at the Teatro-Cine in Torres Vedras. This intimate and groundbreaking work in the artist’s career is the result of a collaboration with the talented Bahian pianist Pri Azevedo.
The album is a deep exploration of Luca Argel’s musical journey, marked by the unique dialogues between his voice and Pri Azevedo’s bold arrangements, which draw inspiration from classical music, jazz, Northeastern Brazilian music, and Afro-Brazilian traditions.
On stage, just like in the album, Luca Argel (vocals) and Pri Azevedo (piano and Rhodes) promise a unique experience, where the harmony between the two artists raises a curious question: who is the visitor and who is the visited?
More dates will be announced soon.

Luca Argel kicks off the year with the return of the acclaimed show Samba de Guerrilha, which will take the stage at the Cine-Teatro de Pombal on 22 February. The live performance, which has already won over both audiences and critics, offers a true journey through time, presenting stories and characters that shaped samba’s history as a tool of resistance and social transformation. On stage, alongside Luca Argel, the luso-Angolan actress Nádia Yracema will handle the narration, António Jorge Gonçalves will provide real-time illustrations, and the music will be performed by Luca Argel and his band.
