10 Aug Cristina Branco announces new dates for her 25th career anniversary tour
Cristina Branco continues to celebrate her 25-year career anniversary on stage. Sardinia, Barcelos and Vienna are some of the new destinations to host the singer’s 2022 tour.
Following a memorable concert in Dreieich (Germany) last Sunday, Cristina Branco will perform this Thursday, the 11th, in Sardinia (Italy), where she will headline the Nora Jazz Festival. On August 16th, the Portuguese fadista will perform at Ribeira da Pena, Vila Real (Portugal), at the invitation of Cister Music Orchestra (CISMO).
Also confirmed are the recently announced International Music Day commemorations in Barcelos (Portugal). Cristina will go on stage at Theatro Gil Vicente, accompanied by her usual trio: Bernardo Couto on the portuguese guitar, Bernardo Moreira on the double bass, and Luís Figueiredo on the piano.
Cristina Branco began her career in 1997 with ‘In Holland (Live)’, an album that became a thunderous success in that country. Today, 25 years and 17 albums later, Cristina is one of the most important Portuguese singers, with a widely praised career that has been celebrated on stage with more than 40 concerts just in 2022.
