In the middle of a world tour, with shows from East to West, Pedro Jóia announces his return to São Luiz Teatro Municipal on January 24, 2025, for a major concert featuring special guests to be revealed in due course. Tickets are already on sale at the usual outlets.

On the iconic Lisbon stage, the virtuoso guitarist will be accompanied by percussionist José Salgueiro to present a repertoire that combines various award-winning works from his brilliant career with his latest album “Mosaico” – a return to original compositions, in a remarkable recording that spans from fado to flamenco, including oriental music.

Pedro Jóia has a unique artistic career, having achieved 1st place on the sales chart in Portugal with the album “Zeca” and won two Carlos Paredes awards. Over the years, he has collaborated with great artists such as Ney Matogrosso, Gilberto Gil, Simone, Mariza, Ricardo Ribeiro, and Resistência, among many other renowned figures. Throughout his career, he has performed multiple times as a soloist with various orchestras and chamber groups, such as the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Venezuela, the Madeira Classical Orchestra, the Macau Chinese Orchestra, the Lisbon Sinfonietta, the Southern Chamber Orchestra, and the Arabesco Quartet.

In Lisbon, the audience will have a unique opportunity to see live one of the most prestigious Portuguese guitarists and composers of recent decades, revisiting a discography that includes masterpieces such as the albums “Variações Sobre Carlos Paredes,” “À Espera de Armandinho,” “Zeca,” and the latest “Mosaico.”
