19 Jun Tosca presents new album “Feminae” at Teatro Maria Matos
“FEMINAE at the Theatre” is Tosca’s new tour, inspired by the eponymous album released in April 2026. The acclaimed Italian singer brings this project to Lisbon’s Teatro Maria Matos on March 8, 2027, marking International Women’s Day with a performance that celebrates women’s voices, creativity, and strength through music.
The album that inspires the concert brings together a collection of duets with some of the most prominent artists on the international music scene, including Cristina Branco, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, and Maria Bethânia. The project creates a meeting point between different cultures, languages, and artistic sensibilities, reflecting the universal dimension of the feminine.
More than a concert, “FEMINAE at the Theatre” is an immersive stage experience: a space where music, words, and light intertwine in an intimate and evocative atmosphere. On stage, a poetic narrative unfolds, exploring the many facets of the feminine universe and transforming it into a universal symbol of creation, memory, identity, and freedom. Inspired by the Italian artist’s new album of the same name, the performance features the voices of Ornella Vanoni, Maria Bethânia, Carmen Consoli, Stacey Kent, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Mama Marjas, and Cristina Branco.
Through ethereal atmospheres, theatrical suggestions, and soundscapes that blend tradition with contemporary influences, Tosca establishes a genuine connection with the audience, giving voice to both fragility and strength, roots and transformation. “FEMINAE” is therefore an emotional and sensory journey that celebrates femininity as a generative force, a space of welcome, and an opportunity for encounter—a powerful yet delicate reflection on the value of listening and the freedom to be.
