05 Jun Cícero announces first tour date in Portugal: December 15 in Lisbon
Cícero, one of the most inventive names in contemporary Brazilian music, returns to Portuguese stages with his new project “Concerto 1”. The first confirmed concert of this highly anticipated tour will take place on December 15, at Teatro Maria Matos in Lisbon. Tickets are available starting today via Ticketline and the usual outlets.
This is the first announced date of a national tour in December, marking Cícero’s long-awaited return to Portugal, where he hasn’t performed since 2019. Additional dates will be revealed soon.
“Concerto 1” presents a fusion of music, theater, and cinema in an immersive experience that both celebrates the career of the Rio-born artist and hints at bold new creative directions. On stage, Cícero performs in an intimate setup — voice and acoustic guitar — accompanied by a virtual orchestra projected live.
After a successful run in Brazil throughout 2023, with sold-out theatres across more than twenty states in just three months, the concept was adapted into a homonymous album released at the end of 2024, featuring his most iconic songs.
The first act of the show offers a sensorial journey, enveloping the audience in classical arrangements of major highlights from Cícero’s career. In the second act, the concert shifts toward more contemporary sounds, offering glimpses into the soul of his upcoming original album, expected in the second half of 2025.
