Cara de Espelho releases ‘D de Denúncia’ — New single out now

Cara de Espelho releases today the single ‘D de Denúncia’, another preview of their upcoming original album, set for release in early 2026 and following their self-titled record unveiled in 2024. The new track is now available on all digital platforms.

With lyrics by Pedro da Silva Martins and arrangements by the band itself, “D de Denúncia” emerges as a direct and incisive song, where irony, satire, and a sharp eye on national reality intersect. The lyrics explore a universe of fictional characters — Fulano A, Fulano B, Beltrano C, Sicrano X — who, through positions of power and family ties, mirror the mechanisms of influence that shape society.

The chorus, repeating “Porque hoje é o dia D / Vamos pôr os pontos nos is” (“Because today is D-Day / Let’s dot the i’s”), sets the tone of urgency and exposure that runs throughout the track, underscoring Cara de Espelho’s way of combining music and words to create narratives that both entertain and provoke reflection.

“D de Denúncia” reaffirms the project’s identity: songs that blend tradition and contemporaneity, sound and text, with writing that can be both poetic and biting. Following their self-titled debut album released in 2024, the band is now paving the way for its second collection of original songs, scheduled for early 2026.
