A leading figure in contemporary fado, Cristina Branco celebrates 30 years of an acclaimed career with an exceptional concert at La Cigale in Paris on 1 March 2027. A symbolic date for an artist who, over three decades, has continually expanded the boundaries of fado, bringing it into dialogue with poetry, world music and jazz.

A truly international artist, and a two-time recipient of the prestigious Prix Choc from Le Monde de la Musique, Cristina Branco has performed extensively around the world, including in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Sweden, Slovenia, Finland, Turkey, Oman, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Morocco and China.

Throughout her career, Cristina Branco has developed a distinctive musical universe, where the tradition of fado meets poetry, literature, world music and jazz. Her voice, artistry and ability to reinterpret the codes of the genre have earned her an audience far beyond Portugal.

To mark 30 years of her career, Cristina Branco will return to the Parisian stage at one of France’s most iconic music venues. The concert promises to be a highlight of this anniversary year — a celebration of memory, emotion and new horizons.
