The biggest Valentine’s Day music festival reaffirms his success with 19 concerts in 4 days
The Montepio Às Vezes o Amor Festival concludes its 10th edition with an extraordinary outcome: 15,000 spectators celebrated love over four days, embarking on a musical journey across 16 cities from north to south of Portugal, including the islands, with a special concert in Lagoa, Azores. With 19 unforgettable performances, this edition featured artists such as Jorge Palma, João Pedro Pais, Lena d’Água, Lura, Marisa Liz, Noble, Nuno Ribeiro, Para Sempre Marco, Raquel Tavares, Santos & Pecadores, Sara Cruz, and Tiago Bettencourt, reinforcing the festival’s status as the largest music event dedicated to Valentine’s Day in Portugal.
A HISTORY OF SUCCESS AND SPECIAL MOMENTS
Over the past decade, the Montepio Às Vezes o Amor Festival has delivered unforgettable experiences, bringing renowned artists from the national and Lusophone music scene to various locations across the country.
With over 50 Portuguese and Lusophone artists, the festival has visited 32 cities over the years, consistently promoting cultural decentralization and celebrating love through music.
The creation of the special show As Canções de Amor and the recognition as “Event of the Year” at the Marketeer Awards in 2021, along with multiple nominations at the Iberian Festival Awards, highlight the event’s significance and impact.
With over 143,000 spectators over the years, the festival continues to grow, and in 2025, it once again impressed with a diverse lineup, achieving sold-out shows in over 80% of the venues hosting the event this year. This edition also marked the debut of five new cities: Barreiro, Lagoa (Azores), Lousã, Penafiel, and Valongo.

The Montepio Às Vezes o Amor Festival is an initiative by the agencies Produtores Associados and Locomotiva Azul and has been supported by Montepio Associação Mutualista as the naming sponsor since its first edition.
