Rocío Márquez, Spanish singer acclaimed by the specialized press as “the voice of the new generation of cante flamenco”, returned to Portugal to present her latest album Visto en El Jueves. Márquez performed on 29 July at the Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias in Funchal, and on 7 August at the Centro Cultural de Lagos.
The flamenco diva performed accompanied by virtuoso guitarist ‘Canito’ (Juan Antonio Suárez) and percussionist Agustín Diassera, and dazzled the sold-out audiences of Lagos and Funchal with two truly intense and unforgettable concerts.
