Cícero

Cícero is a name already well known to the Portuguese public, not only because of the relationship he established with his debut album – “Canções de Apartamento” from 2011 –, but also because of the various tours he has undertaken in our country.

Owner of a restless mind, the composer and producer from Rio de Janeiro has built a solid body of work, which has been followed by a loyal audience, and which has made him one of the most listened to artists, both inside and outside Brazil.

After his award-winning debut album, “Canções de Apartamento” (2011), he toured with the experimental “Sábado” (2013), the sunny “A Praia” (2015), the expansive “Cícero & Albatroz” (2017), the existential “Cosmo” (2020) and now “Concerto 1” (2024): an unprecedented orchestral show that brings together all the hits from his repertoire.

In each project, Cícero presents a unique language and sound. The new approach to his career that has developed in this decade finds its best expression in Cícero: from the virtual to the real, from the individual to the collective, his work spreads around the world and finds a natural affinity with the public with each album and tour. Always exploring new forms of interaction between humans and machines, musicians and equipment, sounds and people.

In 2025, Cícero will embark on two projects. The first is the “Concerto 1” tour, a show that is both intimate and expansive, in which an orchestra projected on a screen performs classical arrangements of his greatest hits, accompanying the artist in his most essential form: voice and guitar. A new and unique sensory experience that can be experienced as a concert, theater or cinema.

In the second half of 2025, Cícero returns with “Uma Onda em Pedaços”, a powerful new album of ten songs blending jazz-inspired and experimental sounds in Portuguese, English, and beyond. Conceived during the pandemic, it reflects on change and resilience, endings and new beginnings. In 2026, Cícero brings this unique sonic journey to the stage, inviting audiences worldwide to experience his music live.
