Cristina Branco with shows in Portugal, Germany and Switzerland this week

As she celebrates 25 years of career, Cristina Branco continues to sing on stage the stories of ‘Eva’, her latest album. The portuguese fadista will perform this Wednesday, 15th, at the Musibéria festival, in Serpa, leaving soon afterward for Germany and Switzerland, where she will perform on the 17th, 18th and 19th.

Cristina Branco has spent 2022 touring extensively inside and outside of Portugal. In the first half of the year, Cristina gave more than 30 concerts, with dates in Portugal, in Benelux, and a concert at the prestigious Jazz Sous Les Pommiers festival, in France. Now it’s time to go back on the road: this Wednesday, 15th, Cristina Branco will perform at the Musibéria festival, in Serpa, leaving afterwards for Germany, where she will perform on the 17th in Furth, at the Kulturforum, and on the 18th in Karlsruhe, at the Tollhaus. On Sunday, 19th, the singer will perform at the Martinskirche church, in Basel, Switzerland.

The singer will continue on the road throughout the summer and the second half of 2022, with new dates already confirmed in Germany between July and August, and in Italy (Nora Jazz Festival, 11 Aug). Cristina’s complete tour schedule can be consulted at www.cristinabranco.pt.

In May, Cristina Branco released ‘Amoras numa Tarde de Outono’, a new album with the pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva, which registers, just like a photograph, the work that the duo has been doing on stage in the last 20 years. The songs were performed in their original formation – the piano recital and voice – and can already be heard on all digital platforms.
